Welcome

Calvary Chapel Honey Creek is a nondenominational church affiliated with Calvary Chapel churches. We are located in Weston, Texas, although our mailing address is in Celina. To learn more about the church, browse through our website. CCHC has a children's ministry for children ages 0 through high school.

Our currently open position is for the early elementary class, serving children aged 3-6. The job is on Sundays, with a 9:00 a.m. arrival time for preparation. Church begins at 9:30 a.m. Generally, the Sunday service ends at 10:45 a.m., and it takes about 15 minutes for the teachers to close up their classrooms. Some at home prep will be required.

We are seeking a teacher who loves working with this age group, is a mature follower of Jesus Christ, and enjoys teaching and nurturing young hearts. To view the full job description here.

 

All of our teachers are under the leadership of our Children's Ministry Director, Hope Briggs. She oversees the training, well-being, and schedules of our children's ministry teachers. Hope also provides the curriculum and lesson materials for each class.

Ideally, we are looking for a one-year commitment, with the option for a longer term if mutually agreed upon.
